Create a room and share the 4-letter code with your friends (they join for free). A song plays, and each player places it on their own timeline by the year they think it was released. Get it right and the card stays; get it wrong and it burns. The first player to build a full timeline of correct guesses wins.

Songs are played through the Spotify app on your device, so you'll want Spotify installed (a free account works). Whenify never connects to your Spotify account — it just opens the track via a link. In no-host mode the year, title and artist are also shown on the reveal.

Whenify is free to download and play. As a host you get a 30-song starter pack, and joining someone else's game is always free. A single one-time purchase of €6.99 unlocks the full 1500+ song catalogue and every category — including songs we add in the future. There is no subscription.

With host: one person runs the game and sees the songs. No host: everyone plays along, nobody sees the answers in advance, and it even works solo. You choose the mode when you create the game.

Open the "Unlock all songs" screen and tap Restore purchase. The unlock is tied to your Apple ID, so it comes back on any device signed in with the same account, free of charge. If it still doesn't unlock, make sure you're signed into the correct Apple ID and connected to the internet, then email us.

This usually means the store is still loading. Wait a moment and tap Try again on the unlock screen, or reopen the app once you have a stable internet connection.

Yes. In no-host mode there is no minimum number of players, so you can practise or play solo.
